Fast, Simple, Super Delicious: Soco Burgers
Looks can be deceiving, but locals rate this tiny stand as one of the best burger joints around. You’ll find a variety of burger and sandwich options here to order and take home with you – perfect when you need a quick meal that tastes good.

Classic Tex Mex: Curra’s Grill
Curra’s has been an Austin staple for 18 years, now, serving recipes first cooked up by the owner’s own grandmother. So if Mexican’s your thing (and why wouldn’t it be in Texas?), you can rest assured that this place is authentic.

On the dinner menu, you’ll find standards like tacos and quesadillas alongside home-style enchiladas, tamales and carnitas. Stop by for Mexican-style brunch before 2:00 p.m. and make sure to sip one of their special margarita creations.

Even Further South of the Border: Habana Restaurant & Bar
Havan brings Cuban and Caribbean flavor to the SoCo Austin area. Locals rave about the flavor and generous portions served here.

Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with meat, fish and vegetarian entrees and a number of sandwiches. The dinner menu includes the house specialty arroz con pollo, a classic Cuban dish. You’ll find seafood specials here on weekends, too.
